CHRISTMAS RIDGE PROSPECT - Click To Download

Grand County, Utah

Two nine-year Federal leases containing 3,561 acres with two significant unconventional shale plays in the shallow Cretaceous Mancos shale and the deeper interclastic black shales and dolomites within Pennsylvanian Paradox salt formation.  The Mancos shale is exposed at the surface, but the target zone in the Mancos, the Juana Lopez member, is at vertical depths of 3,000-4,000 ft.  Lateral extensions of 2,400 ft with be necessary to reach the EUR (estimated ultimate recovery) of 189,700 BO and 1,135 MMCFG per well. Additionally, the deeper Paradox interclastic zones have significant potential.  EURs of 1,500,000 BO and 900 MMCFG/well are possible at drilling depths of 7,500-10,000 ft and lateral extensions of 1,000-2,400 ft. These interclastic zones are analogous to the productive zones in Cane Creek field, 28 miles to the south of the prospect, where the Fidelity Cane Creek 12-1 produced 600,000 – 700,000 BO in 1 year. This well was the largest USA onshore producing oil well in 2013.

SALT VALLEY PROSPECT - Click To Download

Grand County, Utah

A low-risk high-potential prospect in the Paradox Basin, Utah, with interclastic oil and gas zones sandwiched between thick Pennsylvanian salt layers at depths less than 9,000 feet. The prospect has the same potential as the high volume oil wells in the Cane Creek Unit located 20 miles to the south.    One vertical well in Cane Creek Unit has produced more than 1,125,000 BO/well and several have produced more than 600,000 BO at depths of less than 8,000 ft. The Fidelity 12-1 well, a 2,400 ft lateral in Cane Creek Unit, was the largest onshore well in 2013 producing 600,000 – 700,000 BO in the first year. Interclastic zones in Cane Creek Unit can produce an estimated average of 1,500,000 BO/well, depending on the length of lateral well bores.  In Salt Valley Prospect, EURs (estimated ultimate recovery) are the same as those in Cane Creek with vertical drilling depths of 3,200-10,000 ft and lateral extensions of 1,000-2,400 ft. One well within the prospect has tested an estimated 5,000 MCFGPD at the depth of 3,150 ft.
